Aggie Business Round Table Networking Meeting

Ayres Financial Group Conference Center (map)

This Month

Power Hour Networking

Bring plenty of business cards, brochures, and other literature to display on the table at the front of the meeting area designated for that purpose. You will receive the opportunity to tell the group who you are, what you do, and what an ideal client for you might be. Our mission is to facilitate business networking and to help those Ags in transition. So don't be shy about telling other Aggies how you can help their business, or be helped.

Meeting Schedule

  • 7:00 AM: Doors open for networking
  • 7:15 AM: Meeting called to order and introductions
  • 7:50 AM: Closing remarks and raffle
  • 8:00 AM: Meeting officially concludes.

As part of the Power Hour Networking initiative we're changing our start time and focusing on business networking. There will be no guest speakers for Power Hour Networking and you are welcome to leave early if you need to. As noted above, we'll be concluding the meeting at 8:00 AM. Those Aggies that want to continue networking past 8:00 AM are welcome to migrate over to the foyer area.

    Howdy Ags,

Just wanted to make sure everyone took special note of the changed meeting schedule. We're a one hour "power hour" group now. Also, attendance is expected to be in the 20 - 30 range. All of our meetings include complimentary coffee and a breakfast treat provided by our Silver Sponsors. The last couple of months we've had donuts. Also, RSVPs are encouraged, but not required. So if you're making a last minute decision, feel free to come on out and drink coffee with us.

Congratulations to David Ayres for winning an impact wrench in today's raffle, and to Mike Fellers for winning a nice baseball hat. Hats off to our Gold Sponsor Joe Gesino of Ingersoll Rand for bringing in such great door prizes.

Lots of positive feedback from the power hour this morning. Fantastic door prizes from Joe Gesino of Ingersoll Rand. We had an especially delicious choice of breakfast options as well. David Pattillo brought in some exceptionally good donuts and fritters from a shop near White Rock Lake and Melanie Ester brought in some unbelievable homemade blueberry peach muffins with raw sugar sprinkled on top. Looking forward to doing this again!

Since we didn't have a speaker this week, it was a great time to get to do more networking one-on-one and get to know some of the other regular attendees better. I am looking forward to next month!
