Howdy Aggies,
Thanks for being a part of the Aggie Business Round Table. Your participation in this group, and other Aggie groups is what helps to build and strengthen the Aggie Network. As many of you know the Aggie Business Round Table focuses on helping Aggies In-Transition and helping facilitate business networking among Aggies. The reason I’m writing you today is that our group will be changing venues soon. We have a number of restaurants we’re evaluating, and we have a generous offer from one of our former officers that is being explored. Our officers are working through the leads we have, but we’d like to turn to you all and see if we can generate some more leads. Our preference is to find a conference room with similar amenities to what we have now, but with a larger capacity. We’re looking for a room that can accommodate a target group size of 20 – 40 good Ags. In addition, as you all know early morning meetings require lots of coffee, and we’ll need convenient parking. If you know of a good spot. Perhaps even in your own office. We would love to hear about it. We’ll be evaluating our options with many criteria, but the most important will be cost. The lower the room’s final cost the better. All of your donations to our weekly meetings go back to the Dallas A&M Club. They in turn use that for scholarships given to lucky incoming students at Texas A&M University. The lower our operational expenses, the more we can help out the Dallas A&M Club. For our future meeting hosts, the Aggie Round Table has sponsorship opportunities, and each of our meeting invites goes both to this Meetup group and out to thousands of Ags on the Dallas A&M Club Email Newsletter. I you know of an opportunity, or a potential opportunity please email me back with any information as soon as you can. We’re looking to make a decision next week. Thank you for your time.
